Player of the Week – Zach Jalbert (Augusta Surgin’ Sturgeons / Saint Michael’s College)
Zach Jalbert earns this week’s Player of the Week honors after delivering a flawless offensive showing at the plate. The Saint Michael’s product went a perfect 3-for-3 in Augusta’s midweek matchup, racking up two doubles and driving in five runs. Jalbert’s power and production helped pace the Surgin’ Sturgeons’ offense and secured a key win as the regular season heats up. The slugger is hitting his stride at the right time with the playoff race looming.
Pitcher of the Week – Brady Vincent (Augusta Surgin’ Sturgeons / Central Maine CC)
Brady Vincent claims Pitcher of the Week after a steady performance on the mound. The righty from Central Maine Community College tossed four innings of one-run ball, allowing just four hits and one walk while striking out five. Vincent kept hitters off-balance and limited damage in a high-leverage outing, helping his team stay in control from the first pitch to the last.
