GNCBL Mission Statement: Who We Are

The GNCBL strives to meet the needs of those college baseball players who want a competitive place to work on their skills without having to travel extensively. The ability to play quality ball while having a “home-base” allows student athletes to have solid employment schedules, take advantage of internship opportunities, etc, all while increasing their baseball acuity to better help their college teams.

The GNCBL is accepting applications for the 2023 Season!

WHERE ARE YOU PLAYING BALL NEXT SUMMER?  NOW  Is the Time To Be Thinking About What You Are Doing To Better Yourself After Your School Baseball Season Ends. It's Important To Do What You Can To Keep Your Edge!

College Ballplayers that are interested in being a part of the League for 2023 are encouraged to fill out the Player Interest Form. You can find it by clicking on the PLAYER TAB at the top of this page. In the pull-down menu, navigate to the form and fill it out completely. Once it is received you will be contacted and we will let you know what the next steps are. If you were part of the League last year, just fill out the Player Contract and you will be added to the player pool.

Seniors that want to play ball for their last Summer season are welcome!

Looking forward to another great season of baseball.  Come be a part of the League!!

What has Been Going On In The League?? Here is a look back at some moments from last season and beyond...
The Lightning are 2022 GNCBL CHAMPIONS! Congratulations on a great season and a terrific run through the playoffs. A committed team of really good ballplayers, good luck to all of the guys next year in their college seasons!

2022 Regular Season-

The League Honors-
Each week we will choose a player whose accomplishments on the field set him aside from his competition. That player and his stats will be listed here along side each weeks' top player(s).

Player Of the Week:

7/17-7/24. With this being our last full week of the regular season we are getting into those hot hazy "dog days" of Summer, and there are some whose play matches the weather. HOT! Caleb Hendrix of the Lightning has been on fire going 9-15 for a .600 BA while putting up 10 RBI and 3R. Caleb is our unanimous choice this week. Congrats!

Pitcher Of the Week:

On the bump, Dylan Miner from the NorEasters set the mark to beat as he tossed 10.1 innings, striking out 18 along the way and allowing just 3 ER over that period. A terrific job Dylan! GNCBL Pitcher Of the Week!

A Huge Thank You !! To all of those who attended and/or donated to make this event a success. Because of your generosity we were able to present the Maine Cancer Foundation with a check in the amount of $2000 and I know that they were excited to have us partner with them. They do such great work and any help that they can get goes toward helping families "fighting the fight". We are already putting plans together to make an even bigger contribution next year.

Special thanks to the SMMBL for helping make this a possibility. We would also like to thank USM and the Western Me. Umpires who donated their time and facilities. Below are a few pics from the evening!
